Judge orders Rush Limbaugh’s records to be opened
On Dec. 23, a federal judge decided that prosecutors could review Rush Limbaugh’s “confidential” medical records. Limbaugh has filed a motion to stay the decision while an appeal is being filed. (www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2003/12/23/135121.shtml)
Limbaugh complained that prosecutors are smearing him in the court of public opinion by leaking unsubstantiated innuendoes about money laundering and drug trafficking to the press. He says they need his medical records to “to learn whether I’ve committed a crime called doctor shopping.”
