 Tim Carney, Author of “Obamanomics: How Barack Obama Is Bankrupting You and Enriching His Wall Street Friends, Corporate Lobbyists, and Union Bosses”  and  The Big Ripoff: How Big Business and Big Government Steal Your Money  has a great column in the Washington Examiner today entitled “Obama delivers change industry can believe in” .  In the article he shows how President Obama has said one thing to paint himself as the man of the people fighting against corporate interests but does another which is to fight for corporate profits and control.  According to the article President Obama as candidate Obama raised more money from the healthcare industry then any other candidate (in history).  As Tim says the bill in the Senate as presently constituted “contains the insurers’ grand prize, the individual mandate — a federal requirement that every individual buy sufficiently comprehensive health insurance.”  I hope but am not to hopeful that my friends on the left will wake up and realize that Government is not the answer unless the question is how best to enrich politically connected businesses and protect polyopolies .  Read Tim’s article-  “Obama delivers change industry can believe in” .
