All have run to the same government which, through Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac, created the problem in the first place. Apparently they could think of no other solution. As we have seen today (October 7th) it did not even work and will only result in selective rescue of some of those who caused the problem while everyone else shares in the misery and gets no relief. I suspect economic hard times will provide an excuse to expand the power of the federal government, but then again everything seems to provide an excuse to expand the power of the federal government. The Libertarian Party is far from perfect but at least they are not noxious and malicious.
