The problem has been seen as an abusive non friendly to MDs TMB. Why that is the TMB cannot be physician friendly? Why that is the medical board mission is to destroy doctor’s lives? Why is that doctors have to be afraid and be terrorized by these bunch of people that have litlle experience doing medicine or none at all. Why can't physicians elect their peers as Board members? Why can't there be a preliminary effective screening and clarification system for complainers to have responsibility of their actions... That is complainers have to pay money, face the accuser and provide information for counseling prior to place/file a complaint as they only leave in our office 15 dollars for a visit and our defense costs 100 thousand,. Beside that we have no idea what they are complaining about and we expect no fair hearings. DEFINETLY NO HARM CASES SHOULD NOT BE FILED AS A COMPLAINT BECAUSE THEY CLOG THE SYSTEM AND THEY CAN BE RESOLVED BY COUNSELING AND MEDIATION. THE BOARD SHOULD NOT CONSIDER PHYSICANS ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. PHYSICIANS ARE UNDER A STRONG AND SENSLESS BUREACRATIC ENVIRONMENT THAT PREVENTS THEM TO PRACTICE GOOD MEDICINE (BECAUSE THAT IS SEEN AS A WASTE OF MONEY BY THE BIG PLAYERS IN THE INSURANCE COMPANIES/ HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION COMPANIES AND INTEGRATED PHARMACIES) …TO THEN, ON TOP OF THAT , HAVE TO BE THREATENED AND TERRORIZED BY THE SENSLESS AND CORRUPT TMB. PHYSICIANS ARE OPTING NOT TO DO ANYTHING TO PATIENTS AND LET THEM DIE AS THEY FEEL NOT FAIR FOR THEM (AND THEIR FAMILIES) TO HAVE THEIR LIVES DISRUPTED BY THE TMB IF THEY DO ANYTHING AT ALL FOR THE PATIENTS ( SPECIALY IF THIS IS AN ARTISTIC AND INOVATIVE PRACTIVE) . PHYSICIANS ARE PRACTICING “BAND AID MEDICINE” BECAUSE OF THE HARRASMENT THE TMB HAS CONTINUED TO CARRY AGAINST THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY. GOOD DOCTORS HAVE QUIT PRACTICING MEDICINE BECAUSE OF THE UNFRIENDLY APPRACH THE TMB HAS TAKEN AGAINST PHYSICIAN NOW CONSIDERED THE ENEMY OF SOCIETY. THE TMB IS ON A WAR AGAINST PHYSICIANS THEY HAVE NO QUERREL SAYING THAT THAT IS THEIR MILITARY MISSION…THAT IS TO KILL PHYSICIANS (SO THE BIG PLAYERS CAN KEEP THE MONEY WHILE OBAMA IS STATING HE WILL PROVIDE ALL AMERICANS WITH HEALTH INSURANCE….THEY MADE IT …NOW THE INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL BECOME THE SINGLE PAYERS FOR HEALTH CARE SO WE CAN CONTINUE DOING WARS TO EVERY THING AND ANYTHING FOREVER …100 YEARS?). Qustion is, if you are an embattled agency, why not attempt to gather support in a town of 50,000, 90 miles from Houston's 5 million that is a hotbed of dissent against your agency? Favorable venues? It's not good, but not as bad as the AAPS cover letter makes it sound. Obviously, the Board is looking for favorable (to them) venues, though. They are putting up a smoke screen. In my opinion, some of the perps should go to jail. Sham peer review, anonymous accusations, denial of discovery, lack of due process, etc., is an outrage. After retiring from the Army, I was working locum tenens in Missouri. I was one of the state leaders in the campaign for the state referendum on concealed carry and a member of the NRA BOD. Someone didn't like me because of that and attempted to pull this crap on me. I had worked enough at this urgent care clinic in Warrenton, MO. I was not on the staff of the overseeing hospital, so, when the lawyers called to ask me what I was going to do, I promptly told them where to stick it. Now - show them no mercy!
