MEDICARE PATIENT FREEDOM DAY

We support Medicare-eligible seniors’ unrestricted freedom to enter into private contracts with their physicians as outlined in the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons’ “Medicare Patient Freedom Resolution 1999.”

We also support the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons’ declaration of the fifth annual “Medicare Patient Freedom Day” on July 30, 1999 (the 34th anniversary of enactment of Medicare) and commend their efforts to educate the public on this important issue.
