Dinner Information:

Join your fellow AAPS colleagues and the AAPS Board of Directors for a reception, briefing, and dinner on the evening of May 20.

Our featured evening presenters know firsthand how government-controlled medicine has failed in other countries.

Yuri Maltsev, Ph.D. worked as an economist on Mikhail Gorbachev's economic reform team before defecting to the United States. He currently is a professor at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Ralph Weber and his family moved to the U.S. after learning personally about medical waiting lists in their home in Canada. This experience with government rationing inspired Ralph to help keep American medicine the best in the world.

Also at dinner, AAPS Executive Director Jane Orient, M.D., will give an update about AAPS efforts to defend the practice of private medicine.
