AAPS Presenters:

Wayne Iverson, MD California Chapter Coordinator and AAPS Board Member, will be the Moderator for the evening. Dr. Iverson co-founded the National Doctors Tea Party. Rallys featuring physicians speaking out against the PPACA were held in numerous states across the country from August up through the elections of 2010.

Jane Orient, MD, AAPS Executive Director, will be the Featured Speaker. She will give an update on ObamaCare and on other AAPS activities. Dr. Orient read the entire text of the PPACA, so come prepared with your questions about it. You can read her summary of the bill here.

Special Guests:

Robert Odell, MD, Nevada Physician & Political Activist, will discuss how to support US Congressional candidates by reviewing his experience in organizing a successful fund raiser for a candidate for the US Senate.

Annette Teijeiro, MD, Nevada Healthcare Professionals Coalition, will give an update on Nevada Politics. Nevada is 1st in unemployment, bankruptcy, and foreclosures, the state is suffering a huge state budget shortfall and cuts must be made to the state budget. Dr Teijeiro will review where positive measures should be implemented.
